Training with a rimfire

So do you think its ok to train with a 22lr rimfire when your hunting rifle is a 270w?

Absolutely! I have a .22 Marlin 39A to go with my .30-30 and .444.
I have .22s with the same aperture sights as my .270 and .30-06.
I have a .22 with a 6x42 scope on it, to go with a .308 with a 6x42.
I have a .22 with a 4x32 Mil Dot, to go with my Mil Dot on a .308.

What kind of .270 and scope do you have? What kind of .22?
