I am having trouble finding travel and health insurance for a driven boar Monteria in Portugal,
So far the B.A.S.C. website is not working ( Aim Ins ) at least for me!
So any help I can get from you chaps would be appreciated, older Yorkshire person (not t'internet savvy).:suss:
Regards,

Phone BASC and they will give you the required contact details. I wasted a lot of time looking for cover abroad, bizarrely not thinking of BASC! Simple travel policy which specifically includes hunting and shooting.
Its a laugh I looked at a number of extreme sports travel providers; jump out a plane, dive into the depths with sharks or walk thru Afghanistan - all no problem. But want to take a gun hunting - much too risky, coverage declined!

Phoned BASC they say members have third party liability cover which is worldwide but no health repatriation etc. Put me through to their brokers who had no one available. Still waiting a call back !
I've used NFU (and do all my farm & property with them). I get a good level of cover for hunting safaris in Africa for a month at a cost of about £75. But there's 72 pages in the schedule !!

Got the call back today. It would be around £125 for 4 weeks cover 60 y o in South Africa medical delays repatriation etc but not baggage & belongings. So NFU is cheaper for me but I do several £000's of business already with them.
Richard - sounds like you're covered for everything except the gun blowing up when pulling the trigger.
