Hello, That is a nice Trout fishery although it is a long time ago i had a days fishing there, A lot depends a which way the wind is blowing for dry flies but the usual nymphs and lures catch fish, Until the water warms up i guess a sinking line and range of lure patterns catch fish, most people have 2 rods set up with sinker and floater just like Farmoor, As for Fly patterns I found some on Temu but if Uk i have bought some from Trout Flies UK based in Morecombe Lancs, Good quality and prices, I have a box on non descript random patterns as a back up if nothing is taking the usual pattern flies, It is well over 50 years since i started Trout fishing for £1 a day , But my favourite has to be river fishing for brown trout although now i have most given up, If you going to fish Hawkridge most the £300 season ticket ( 50 Fish ) looks very good and you can fish Bingham and Clatworthy , Good luck
