I have two available places in two different syndicates.
The first syndicate space is for an area of approximately 400 hectares in South Ayrshire. Species are red and roe.
The second place is in East Ayrshire, in an area of around 350 hectares. Only roe present.
Both syndicates have very small membership (four in SA and three in EA) which has not changed in just under 6 years. Both spaces became vacant as a syndicate member has sadly died (he was a member in both syndicates).
DSC Level 1 are necessary if you are to stalk unaccompanied. If you do not hold DSC1, you will still be considered but will be stalking with one of the other members. Learning the ropes/mentoring is available free of charge to the right person.
Your own shooting (and public liability) insurance is a must.
There are doe boxes and high seats in both plantations. Stalking is forest (with some open spaces). There is a farm in of the syndicates' grounds.
Members are free to keep what they shoot.
A log of what was shot (species, age, condition etc) needs to be kept by all.
Areas where you can safely zero your rifle can be found in both properties.

People who fit what we are looking for will be contacted soon as I need to get things sorted ASAP.
If all works out I will arrange a visit to the syndicate ground for you to have a walk around and hopefully meet existing members.
I will try to match the right candidate to the right syndicate depending on experience, access etc
Syndicate memberships in both areas start in June.
Prices to be confirmed but circa £2100 and £1300 respectively.
