Today I found my 37th Euro Wasp nest,i`m yet to fry it.

A week or so ago I did num 35 and set my camera up on the tripod about 4 yards away alongside my ute and dusted them.

After the dusting I videoed them again but this time from inside my ute with the window barely cracked. Its showing the huge numbers of new queens that were panicking out of the entrance after being dusted as the powder really stuffs their nervous system up.

whats the chemical you use? we lost the use of ficam d out doors a couple of years ago, the other powder option is crap

I’m enjoying this thread (a lot) as only last week I was stung on the crease of a little finger when posting a thank you note through a neighbour’s letter box. Never has a wasp sting hurt so much and the finger is still not back to normal with a loss of feeling and reoccurring swelling.

Keep up the good work JG!

Me too...the last time I was stung was in the middle of the night when I went to the loo...bloody hornet was on the loo seat and I didn’t put the light on and it stung me on the arse. Twice. The Mrs wondered what the hell was going on.
rather over the top revenge, but I caught the little bugger, put him the fridge so he was lethargic and then superglued his wings to a card and when he perked up shot him with an air rifle lol!

Well done JG. Can’t stand the buggers. Got 11 stings when I managed to back tractor and topper into corner of field shelter and dislodged a nest in rafters last year. I usually get around 12 nests a year around house and barns I get a pest guy in to deal with. He is also the local bee keeper

Jayzus the antis will shut the joint down with these wasp killing rituals.
I went up the back this evening just on dark and took a ladder with me and puffed no 37,its a two holer and I only got one hole as they started to tickle my arm whilst on the ladder.
Video shot when I found it earlier in the day, they have been all over a dead cow (2 months) several hundred yards away. Its where I trapped the old dog the other day.
Failing the ladder job I was going to do a funeral pyre job of it.

I get a discount because I get so many. From memory I think is £20. He has full bee suit on and a long wand and canister that pumps nerve stuff in. The wand can reach up a couple of floors

I would love a full suit but sadly its a tee shirt and trousers job for me. I wait for a lull in activity then puff and walk away.
37 nests @ 20 quid...I would love that too!
