When I see how angry they are at the first whiff of gas rather you then me in a tee shirt

I always puff them after dark. You don't get attacked and there's fewer survivors.
If you need light top see what you're doing, I've found the red light on my head torch doesn't rouse them. White light wakes them up.
I'll be lamping the bastards next.
