U.K. today

You can’t pour a drop of left over coffee in the drain, but water companies pour 100’s of thousands of litres of shjite in our waterways.

Can someone please tell me WTF is happening in our country?

Asking for a friend….

Don't try to understand it , you'll just upset yourself.
The country has gone mental , and you just have to accept it.

Imagine that no less than three people, presumably employed by the council, swooped on this person at the time of her confrontation for this ‘crime’. According to the snippet I heard of an interview given by the accused, she was accosted at the time by three officials?

How much time, money and manpower/resources has been expended on pursuing this matter to its conclusion?

The country is infected with this woke nonsense, too many people hand-wringing over ecological and other issues in society. But you can stand up to it and say your piece... of course, you may end up with a small fine or a short prison sentence, but hey-ho.

The lady and the coffee seemed like a very nice, reasonable person when she spoke on the goggle box. The fine has been dropped, so we have a small victory.

I think the term F.O should've been deployed and walked away, id put money on the fact these 'employees' have no powers of detaining or demanding I.D...exercise common sense but then the 'offender' probably saw an opportunity for 5 mins of fame

Hello, Just seen this and thought i got up to early !!!!!, Mince Pies and Christmas Pud adverts could be banned till after 9 pm, More Labour Wokism !!!!

Theres a simple explanation, the powers that be have given up trying to deal with real crime and real criminals so now they concentrate on enforcing petty regulations.
The enforcement efforts are mostly concentrated on that section of society that is normally law abiding and compliant because they’re easy to deal with and don’t complain.

Aye, private companies enforcing it on behalf of the local authorities (usually with commission involved).

No powers whatsoever. Ignore them.
