Unbelievable!!!

Assembled the 527 bolt yesterday and last thing before bed I replaced the Britannia Picatinny rail.
This rail has been on this rifle for many months.
This morning I replaced the tele. sight and went to take the bolt out to see what bore sighting looked like.
Oh dear, the bolt hits the underside of the Picatinny rail where it extends at the back.
How can this be?
I do know some had issues and had to modify their bolts to clear scope oculars but this is a mystery to me.
Any ideas anyone?

I would suggest double checking the bolt assembly because they will go back together incorrectly and throw the angle off.

I've just called our engineer but he's out at the moment, as soon as he comes back to me I'll follow up!

Silly me….I’d fitted the Pic. rail on the wrong way round!
Didn‘t think it would fit either way.

Super, glad it was an easy fix.

It's worth noting with the CZ527, in the handle itself therre's a two prong fork - it just needs to be pushed home otherwise it can interfer.

I thought you had put the rail on with the screws to action, and had one longer than the other, (the one meant to go in the front thicker meatier action bit)
Looks a decent bit of wood by the way.

Funny you should mention reloading….I thought I’d design another ( Already got my name to 2) cartridge and here it is.
It’s a 30-22 Hornet specifically for lead free bullets.

At one time CZ used to put decent wood on some rifles and if you bought ordered in by a retailer it was pit luck whether you got good or plain.
Don’t know what their new stocks are like now a days.

Nah - he'd be fine, he'd never be able to get the bolt closed on any home loaded ammo with that rail in the way
