Unknown caller

No - not a message on your phone!
Whilst looking for something else I found this caller and remote which apparently I have had for ages (Mrs FB has honed her irony skills to a razor edge). Soooo pushed all the buttons, in the right order but only one call works which might explain why it was put aside 10 years or more ago.By Pressing each button it seems to go through the motions of playing (red light flashes) but only no. 2 works, this is also the case with the remote. Being a brave sort I connected it to the Imac (which I think is Apple for computer) and discovered that there are 8 calls lurking in there somewhere but play them I cannot. I have the vaguest memory (really!) of doing something similar many years ago and losing 7 out of the 8 calls so probably serves me right. Anyone out there au fait with these callers and how to play calls or even download new calls, please?
I have just read this post over and it actually presents as though I know what I am talking about, this is a total fallacy so please be gentle with me chaps. Much obliged.

Haven't seen a u caller remote in a long time, but if memory serves me correctly the prefix is the key to get them to be recognised by the device. They have to be prefixed 0001 through to 0008.

Also, some non-mp3 files may not be recognised. Foxpro etc. protect their files from being played in other devices by converting them from mp3 to encrypted state.

Now that is interesting thank you. I shall get the Director of IT on it right away.

I have one of these originally bought the mark one but that stopped working after a few months returned to maker and they replaced it with the new version no problems and very good to deal with may be worth a call
