Unwell grey partridge

Hi was wondering if anyone has came across this problem I’m having. Me and my dad bought a breeding pair of grey partridge all was going well she laid eggs started sitting them but today when we went to check on her , it looks like some eggs have hatched (we have 7 chicks ) but the hen bird doesn’t seem to be able to walk she is just laid on her side both legs outstretched to one side. Does anyone have any advice thanks

Check her for mites
Sitting birds are an easy target for parasites but if she's lying as you describe it's probably too late to save her

Get a bit of this in laying hens, is she bright other than the fact she can’t stand? If she generally seems ok in herself, poo is normal etc then I would just prop her up some where quiet out of the way with some food and water she can reach, I find that 24 hours like that generally sees them right…but I don’t actually know what the issue is!
