EVERY time i try to return to the Forum home page this annoying message appears.

The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later.

Presume this is no longer occurring?

The server does get hammered from time to time (either a lot of traffic or late at night when it's backing itself up). When the load reaches a certain level it will generate the message above.

It does it everytime i hit the return button to access the forum homepage.

The server is definitely not generating that message currently, load is very low....

[root@webhost ~]# uptime
00:59:29 up 79 days, 23:50,  1 user,  load average: 0.80, 0.56, 0.47

I reckon your browser is playing up and regurgitating a cached version of the page.

What happens if you force a refresh? Ctrl+F5?

Failing that try clearing your cache

I was going to ask if you'd just upgraded to IOS8 but it looks like you are still on 4

Either way, same advice... clear the cache

Settings -> Safari -> Clear History and Website Data

Note that this will log you out of sites
