Vacuum sealing worth it or not?

Hi all just noticed there is a vacuum sealer coming up for sale for £20 in my local lidl I'm pondering it but I don't know if it would be a huge benefit or not.

Any body on here use one for their own use? I know nothing about vacuum sealing so any help would be appreciated.
Or if you shoot a red and cant physically eat it within a week 😂 i love my vac packer, makes life easy

I have one from Lidl great bit of kit, but when you have a few deer to process, the novelty of sizing bags to the joint wears off, just use freezer bags now but get air out. If giving away then I will do the extra and vacuum pack.

For the last 6 months I have just been wrapping the meat in cling film then bagging , seems to have the same effect as the vacuum bags .. in some cases better as I had more than a few bags that obviously didn't seal properly and developed frost inside . I also couldn't be doing with the time it took to vac pack..

Vacuum packing is the only way to go, in my book! Not only is a brilliant way to maximise the shelf life of meat, it also reduces the need for other packaging, means that food take up less space in the freezer, looks very professional (especially if you want to make gifts to people, in which case I also use the gold or silver foil cardboard trays), means the bags are very easy to label as you can just use a Sharpie, and also serves as a cooking vessel for sous vide (of which I do a lot).

Well I went to Lidl this morning to get the vacuum sealer seen plenty of bags but no sealer in sight so I seen one on butcher sundries for £25 I think that's my next move.
