Anyway he had a box of bits.
Lead 45acp bullets.
Some 44magnum brass.
A Lyman mold that looked to be .32 flat point and some round ball molds about 45/50 cal. One mold was a ball and conical for I guess a 44 percussion revolver.
Anyway, give them a call if you want know more. He said he had other stuff for black powder shooters.
Just saying...

Well done with the percussion caps, seems most are out of stock these days. I love the old quirky gun shops where you can pick up older or more unusual bits and bobs that most don’t have. I could nose around those places for hours😉👍

Never been to them 🤔
Morgan’s closed a few years ago and Wynnstay also closed but I believe has reopened, Field & Falcon is an excellent gunshop with a superb indoor air rifle range and also an outdoor full bore range.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

I use Valley Arms Ruthin often, as always passing with work. Can normally cut a deal with them which always helps!

Field and Falcon also pretty good, if I little pricey. Recently bought out by an American chap.

Unfortunately the full bore range is no longer! Was shut down due to noise complaints from the locals!

I didn’t know that, maybe a year since I visited F&F. Is Terry still working there?

Wynnstay is open again on the other estate in town.

When I spoke to F&F last year they had the outdoor range extremely limited/closed due to noise complaints.

That makes sense, I called the other day and a guy with a thick american accent answered and Terry answered the second time.

F&F usually has a limited selection of guns but plenty of ammo.

I find Wynnstay in Oswestry about the best in the area for the variety of different rifle and shotgun ammo in stock.

Last time is was in there the chap serving mentioned they were thinking about getting out of gun sales as they don't have a very high turn over on firearms/shotgun... shame
