Venison

A haunch of MJ oven roasted quickly with a good olive oil and rosemary baste is as good as it gets.
This as posted on previous page nailed it. MJ backstraps lightly seasoned and flash fried a close second.
 
Red, I dont like roe for whatever reason I'll still eat it however.

Red deer everything is steaked.... I eat a lot of steak whenever a red has been shot.
 
I have just had a young sika spiker butchered, In my mind its the best. But I have only had red, roe or sika.

Sika or Roe Lorne sausage made by my local game dealer/butcher is the best I have ever tasted.
