Hi all, I'm on the scrounge for a bit of advice please. I have a superbly accurate load using 56gr of 160 with a 130gr prohunter out of my .270. Lee manual says max load 58gr but the load is above max in other manuals. As the rifle is a Sako 75 deluxe and great nick I certainly don't want to kill it earlier than it needs. No pressure sign so I'm sure it's fine but looking for second opinions. many thanks Steve.

Sounds like you've answered your own question? If there's no obvious pressure signs, leave it as is. I also don't understand how you'd 'kill' it earlier?

If the load is ‘superbly accurate’ and all is well leave it alone

Viht's maximum for the nearest equivalent bullet (130gn Remington SP) is also 58.0gn, so if you have no over-pressure signs with your bullets and 56.0gn stick with that load.
