Which model did you go forI started off in B&Q garden cane sticks. They were decent, especially for the £15 or so quid they cost.
I then tried a mates viperflex and was blown away.
I tried to go a bit cheaper and bought some mjoelner, but having compared them to viperflex they felt much more flimsy.
I bit the bullet and bought the vipers and havnt regretted it since.
I've no direct experience with them, but the bushwear sticks are incredibly popular. I make 5th leg attachments for most major brands, and the bushwear outsell all other brands combined by a ratio of about 4:1. So they must be decent!
Cheers

I can vouch for the durability after a friend drove over them in his L200. No damageBest on the market for me, I use the XL versions being 6' 4" no more stooping over short sticks! After having tried 2 other manufacturers.
They take some serious abuse, used them to drag reds out of some places when forgotten my rope (run them through each hock and pull!).
Pic attached to show the durabilitynot mine but a pals
Mine also bounced out the back of a mates converted Jimny and lived in a field full of cattle of 10 days before he stumbled upon them again... knew they were on thr estate somewhereI can vouch for the durability after a friend drove over them in his L200. No damage![]()
