A lad I went to school with, I learned had been working under his unsupported Transit twin wheeler, in an isolated farmyard barn .... he was found a long while after it had collapsed onto him, stone dead.
I personally knew two people who died like that. The one was a motor mechanic who simply got complacent.
I never ever trust a vehicle jack and always use a trolley jack plus stands.
The nice AA man has been and hammered it off. I needed a bigger hammer.
Next step - find an appropriate bottle or trolly jack that fits under with a flat.

We lost a local farm worker as his air suspension collapsed on him, a guy out in Dengies lost his life (on the day he was retiring ) as he wanted to check the trailer was empty and the driver closed the air ram tailgate.

A lorry fitter died in Forfar a while back as he relied solely on an inflated airbag to support the chassis while he changed a failed unit. The airbags burst and, well, you can figure out the rest. All for the sake of a bottle jack and a stand

I wouldn't bother with a bottle jack, they have to be on very flat hard surfaces to work. They are prone to toppling over. You cant beat a good trolley jack,
next job is get rid of the locking nuts
dont let anyone ever tighten nuts with an impact gun. especially the AA man. I ended up needing professional removal of a locking nut after a breakdown engineer put the nuts on with an impact gun. got rid of them after and just use normal nuts now

If your bottle jack ends up being too tall then carry a piece of wood that you can drive the punctured tyre up onto to enable the jack to fit.
I was a AA Patrol for 40 years, retired 7 years ago. We used to carry a caravan levelling ramp for doing this.
VWs hideous for the alloy wheel/ steel hub corrosion issue as no copper grease used from the factory.
Whenever I attended one under warranty the report that I gave the factory suggested gross incompetence.
