A bit of advice needed from those using please

Im going to purchase one of the Vorn rucksack but unsure whether to go for the 12l or the 30l.

I have had hands on the 30l and really impressed but would like some experience with the sizing of both. Unsure whether a 30l is going to be too much bag.

Majority of my stalking at the moment is woodland and a little open but I am going to be shooting the open hill with the reds cull etc.

Any help appreciated as usual.

The bigger the pack the more stuff you bring that you don't need, weight its all about weight, 12 is plenty.

Yeah this is what I was thinking.

Probably have my gralloch kot and drag rope and then on the hill want enough room for waterproofs and food. Unsure if the 12 would be big enough

A lad ive been out with has the 12L and swears by it.

Big enough to get an extra layer in, med kit etc without carting your life up the hill.

I have the 12 and can fit everything I need in it but I’m not carrying food and extra clothing etc. you’d need the 30 for that.

i have the 12 and it’s plenty big.

vorn have jus released a molle waist belt for it so you could add some extra pouches if you wanted

Agree with the rest of the guys the LT12 is fine or you will pack crap in there that you don’t need if you have the larger model

I use a 12 for stalking on the hill; I do have a molle belt I use with it with a couple of pouches on, mainly so that 1st aid kit is easily get-attable should I need it, and another for my drag strap so that when it honks of rutting stag it is not making everything else reek

I have got one of the original 7L ones with an extra pouch to hold food separately - plenty of room for flask, extra layer, thermal & a few other bits. Perfect size to stop you carrying too much.
