Rucksack for carrying rifle

Got a trip to Scotland on the hinds in the new year, and also a few spots where we tend to walk in with rifle in slips and then dump the slip before going on with just the sling due to the number of public we bump into. With that in mind looking to get a rucksack that will carry a rifle comfortably and covered. At the moment the vorn lt12 seems to tick the boxes, but open to other ideas.
Rifle is a tikka in an XLR element chassis, 24" barrel with dpt mod. So a fairly long setup!

Go for the EV 30. The LT12 is really just a rifle carrier that can at best accomodate a lunch pack and a thin rain jacket.
Plus the EV30 has a rigid backbone which makes carrying it more comfortable.

For on the hill and taking a bit more kit I would get the 30 rather than the 12. I have an LT12 and have to pack it wisely if out for more than a few hours or so on my local permissions.

I went for the EV30 after seeing the LT12 as it is very small and wouldn't fit all the essentials in. The EV carries everything I need for a full day with a bit of room to spare. It is super comfy to wear and you can't notice the weight as it is well spread and supported. The rifle is easy to access and can be on my sticks in seconds.

As everyone else has said! The vorn backpacks are extremely well made and very very comfortable for carrying your rifle!
I use the LT12 but mainly for foxing. I definitely think the EV30 would be way better suited for stalking.

I use a Vorn LT12 and for what I need to carry it’s great. It comes with a sleeve for the barrel too so doesn’t make it obvious that you’re carrying a rifle. As others have said though, on the hill a larger size would probably be best.
