Having sent a scope back to the USA in the past, and waited a year for it to return, I have no plans to buy any US based optics again. The costs and hassle of getting faulty goods returned to the USA and then shipped back to the UK are only going to increase in the future.

I currently have a number of Vortex scopes, along with a monocular, binoculars and a spotting scope. In truth, they’re not the best i have, in terms of optical performance, but are at the mid to top end of the scale. I have had cause to test the no quibble guarantee, and have never found Vortex to be anything other than excellent. This experience certainly influenced my opinion and my collection of their products has grown accordingly.
Last month, I contacted Vortex USA about one of my scopes.
They advised that I should send it to CSW (Country Sports Wholesale) in Hertfordshire. I duly contacted CSW, and a nice chap called Christopher confirmed that this was correct. The problem scope was sent off, and a new scope sent out as a replacement in a few weeks. The only cost incurred by me was the postage to Hertfordshire.
I know there are better quality optics out there, but for the price, features, performance, and no quibble guarantee, I think they are a tough act to follow.
Thanks go out to Christopher at CSW, and to Vortex themselves.
