Sold: W.W Greener GP Immaculate

W.W Greener GP from 1926! like new as you can see in the photos. I don't think there is a mark on it, which is incredible for a gun that is 97 years old!
Shoots brilliantly, and I probably shoot better with it than anything else I own. Just don't have the occasion to use it much now.

25 1/4 inch barell
14.4 inch LOP.
2 1/2 inch chamber.

It certainly is, thank you. It is like new! It's like a laser beam to shoot at well. I seem to hit everything I aim at with it.

Choke & is that the original barrel length?

Full choke as most of them are.

I had one with a cut down barrel with no choke, hence the question. Still shot very well with the right cartridges.

Gough Thomas described the Greener G. P. as having excellent handling. I was intrigued, I bought one. Great gun.

It is brilliant. I shoot more accurately and hit more with it than my fancy shotguns. Just mainly shoot centrefire nowadays though.

Gough Thomas described the Greener G. P. as having excellent handling. I was intrigued, I bought one.

I knew "Gough Thomas" well (G T Garwood) and well remember him saying the GP was a very good gun compared with the numerous other single-barrelled 12s around at the time.

I had one, it was my first new gun, I think from memory it was around the £20 mark!
