Wasp nest update.
Walked a fairly long way today and didnt see a deer hair for several hours until I was driving home and happened to look down into a deep gully and saw a hind. She was facing away uphill on the opposite bank looking back over her shoulder up at the ute. Approx 120 yards.
I drove downhill for another 3-400 yards and whipped back up with my camera and saw nothing!
Prior to that sighting I had been back and located the wasp nest and rolled a bit of video.
We sneaked into the base of the nest tree pretty warily I might add and looked for the nest that I blew out. I only found one 5" square that had three moribund wasps looking pretty cold and miserable, one started to vibrate its wings like it was pi$$ed off and all I could think of was "****ING PHEROMONE`S" and got out of there.
