Great sunday fun,
The boar weren't plentiful due to the cold weather. Boar are interesting in that way, we were counting on there being snow, so the Montaria was set up to beat the deep ravines where they would be had it snowed. But the weather was very nice, warm sunny day, windy up high so the boar were on the other side, out of the wind, up high and in the sun.
A friend of mine fell asleep in the sun and had a 150kg male calmly stroll past him. Eye witnesses say it stopped not 5m from where he slept then calmly go up the hill.... to the dismay of on older gentleman who couldn't put a shot in due to my sleeping friend. The gentleman said he had never seen such a thing in his 94 years.
We had a great time taunting him all the way home about how a giant boar stopped to **** on his boot and cover him up with leaf so he wouldnt be cold... hahahah great fun
I personally saw one large boar run up a road past a hunter that was on the wrong side of a house. the man obviously never expected the boar to be running up the road on the asphalt.

Still was a great day 9 boar accounted for. All female except for one very nice trophy male.
