Well - we did it!

That looks good - many thanks! Do you know of a site that gives moon rise times as well? I have one stored somewhere - given today's date, I'll have to dig it out!

I use the site Time and Date and have the following page bookmarked (although set to Portsmouth rather than Plymouth) which gives the coming week:

Alternatively you can set it to give you the details of a full month:

Paddy if you look at one of the USAF weather sites for Europe they will give you all the info you will ever need. I think the best is their meterological bases
OSAFE-OWS but haven't used it for years.

I had my Casios decades very good when lamping or for fishing. You can set the long/lat to anywhere in the world so handy if you move about in the UK.

Tell me its wet, hell of a drive from Devon back to Bath on New Years Day, pretty awfull this am big storms at present.

Thanks for the info - the rain has stopped here for now - fingers crossed it holds off long enough for us to go foxing tonight!

Just going to be blowing a gale instead. Good luck, none been seen after you shot the last one, but expect everything in thickest cover at present.
