I'm still on the look out for a new or shared permission. I typically shoot an hmr and/or 223, and a sg.
Shooting is a privilege and a wonderful way to get outdoors and I never take for granted the opportunity that somebody has given me. I don't make videos or flaunt my activities and tend to be as discreet as possible. In return I help the landowner with any duties or tasks I might be able to. On my current perm I've been running the annual shoot, prepping pens, feeding birds, controlling squirrels and rats, running the shoot days. I've also helped with lots of other duties around the farm and even some estate planning.
I'm not after huge swathes of countryside nor do I want to deprive anybody of stalking opportunities - although a couple of muntjac over the year would be great. Perhaps going out once a month on average would be sufficient for me. I'm not looking to go out several times a week like I used to.
If anybody knows of anything suitable up to an hour from Midhurst - whether shared, owned by you, you're looking for some company, retiring etc, I'd be pleased to discuss the opportunity. References available. Obviously insured and also a full member of a full bore shooting club, inc safe shooter cert.
