What dog boxes have you got?

Got animal transit drawers in my Ranger, be fine for dog stuff and guns but the ends of the sewers came out with chainsaws, socket sets, sledge hammer etc in and heavy to pull open. Otherwise good, have mates who have animal transit but give them less heavy duty use and they are spot on for them.
Was looking at gear mate in a hilux the guys was a fitter for a machinery firm and must have had few 100kg of tools in them, 3 years old and you could pull them out with one finger….that’s what I’d have if I was to buy again. 10% off with BASC membership I seem to remember seeing somewhere.

Just ordered one from ‘mat about pets’ with drawer system and one side of the canopy as a dog crate. Time will tell.

Animal transit half draw system with bespoke partition and gate. Fits 1 lab and 2 spaniels. Really good workmanship.

All fine not having your dog contained in a box until you are unfortunate enough to have an accident. There's a reason why humans wear seat belts! When your dog goes flying out of the window to be crushed or hit by another car, that saving of £500 is not going to appear to have been a good saving. My dogs are worth far more than that to me that's for sure.
I certainly wouldn't want a dog walking mud and grime all over my seats either. Nothing worse IMO
