Aigles. Neoprene lined. Bloody warm but comfy as a pair of slippers.

I used designer wellies by George Michael of Wham fame... they tend to get sucked off in a bog though.
I would have said Aigle Iso Parcours but the last two pairs split at the heal seam after little wear and at the price should have lasted longer than 18 months. Now wear Le Chemeau zipped / neoprene and Ariat Neoprene. Both have been superb. The Aigles were great to wear but if you do a web search loads of customers have complained of the splitting and not sure if it was addressed.

I have the Decathlon neoprene lined wellies and they have been great. More supple than my hunters which perished after a year or so.
My Aigle Parcours ISo have just started to let water in on a heel. They're just over three years old. The Le Chameau's I had before them wouldn't last two years.
I've bought another pair of Aigle as they were always more comfortable than the Chameau's, but they should last longer for the money.

Toggi Wanderer/Plus. I had a pair for absolutely years, and they eventually wore out, but a decade of service was pretty good if you ask me. I've currently got some Aigle Parcours 2 ISO, which I got because they were available at an eyewateringly good price, and they are very, very nice, but, trust me, they aren't a hundred quid better than the Toggis. Both have good soles (I actually think the Toggis edge it here) and are cosy, but most of all fit snug around the ankles, which is absolutely vital if you're going to be in them on dodgy ground all day

Agreed, definitely not worth the money. When mine failed after 14 months they said that I should be cleaning them regularly to ensure they last
Aigle Parcours ISO. I bought a pair when I was 16yr old with my beating money. I bought a pair a few years ago as they started to leak. Im now 39. My father has gone through a lot more le chemeau in that time. I do use them a lot too. I prefer the sole grip to chems too. I have tried them. My father is the same size as me. I don't even wonder what I will buy next.
Decathlon has them at a good price whenever I've been in. If you get their reward card. You will get 2yr guarantee with them too.
Looked and they are currently on sale at £89. Brilliant price but no availability in my size
