What would you do. Advice needed.

If you can run to a DNT Thermnight that’s what I would get.
You can get old Pulsar spotters ver cheap now.
I think mine is one of their first models (V23?) At least 7 years old and you do get used to i d ing things but id is not a priority, as long as you see a heat source your good to change to your sight. And with the Thermnight you have the choice as to whether to alert yourself to your target with the little red glow, or carry on using the thermal in the sight.
Not sure about range when using Thermnight thermal setting.

Thermal spotter and a IR NV add on to confirm and shoot. I’ve got a Wulf add on, always some on eBay, very underated and it’s picture is fantastic to 250m, far better than a Pard, and the IR it comes with goes to 500m+ but like all tech thermal or NV, weather decides how good it is. Easy to mount, take off for daytime and switch between rifles
