More workshop artwork, well it is again now anyway.
Having a good old clear out in the workshop and stumbled across this today, in a fair old state so I will see about getting it restored and then potentially preserved in some way?!
Taken around '92/93 would be a very educated guess, taken by a local fella and still a great friend today, Peter Machan, a historian who specialises in the Sheffield trades and surrounding areas that housed them.
The giant of a gentleman you see working away on the left is my dad, me tucked away working on a little powered press that we had at that time over on the right.
In the corner you can see THUNDERBIRD VII as I named it, am old 'Double Header' blade glazing and polishing machine, I still have and cherish it, I never use it, I just know that I will never, ever, get another one.
