When I wasn't so old in NZ lol.

Evening John,

Fantastic pictures and stunning terrain.

I liked a couple of the sentences used "way to fu-kery above us" 10/10 for a proper description. 👍 👍

Also " There were no helicopters involved in the hunt! " Appreciated all the better for the sheer effort involved.

Absolutely Spot on.

:tiphat:

Know that's hunting ,

bang on John , I'd give my left nut to do that ( on 2nd thoughts feck that , but one of the kids would be a fair trade lol)

Proper order that mate , the stuff memories are made of , you will NEVER forget that , bang on , thanks for posting , I do seem to remember you posted the pic of the parrot type bird a while ago ?

Ooh yeah, it was so fkn high, with hanging glaciers and earth rumblings.
" There were no helicopters involved in the hunt! "
And that is how I have done my hunts in NZ, not getting dropped of at the top and picked up like a fresh daisy.
Fascinating stuff ! What bird is that John ?
NZ Kea also known as a Cee-unt. Shanks was sitting alongside me and after watching the bird for a while chewing on my 7mm mag tape he said "boooom" I laughed out loud.
I'd give my left nut to do that
Kev,its a matter of simply doing it,no money involved as my hunts were reciprocal. Kiwi shot a couple of nice sambar stags here.
Our next hunt was more involved and much much tougher.
I came home and then lost four toe nails as an after effect of wet feet and rock bashing.

As a footnote it seems that `ol Klenchy didn't mention the GREEN rifle.
