@Mungo I live round 60.8 N. But sometimes range as far as 67N by truck, 69.5 by aircraft.

There are ptarmigan up there but we were looking for caribou. She also likes to tag along on big game hunts. Doesn't make any noise or try to chase things and is also a very good bear first alert system. GSP's... the versatile breed! lol

Here is my place. We'll it's mine for another 5 weeks. After living here for twenty years it time to move a little nearer civilisation. My new house is only ten minutes from the mew hunting ground and walking distance from the health centre if I need it in the future.

It is gorgeous in the fall , I'll have to make my way back up before I go for a dirt nap . I spent a fair amount of time in the Arctic , you either love it or hate it . I love it , but I've seen a few guys taken out in restraints over the years when working up there in winter . Some people don't react well to Arctic night in winter , I'm sure you know what I mean lol .
