Where to buy a spring??

Anyone have any ideas on somewhere I can buy a spring?

I have one that is a little weak for what I want, so I guess I want one with a bit more compression strength.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of springs where I can give dimensions, or send my existing spring in order to get a replacement?

ebay, also if you google the spring, you tend to get a few manufacturers and suppliers show in the results

The spring is a recoil spring for an Sig P226 .22lr. I have googled the heck out of that and get one supplier in the states, and a uk importer who doesn't import it. Hence trying to look for a spring specialist.

I'd try eBay. I bought 300mm long springs that I cut to size to make recoil springs for my Marlin 22lr.

I had to deal with this company a lot during my working career, they will do one offs, they often did old garage door springs for the folks in the local area. My Missus comes from this town so know about them from her first. Very impressive what they can do they might even have the spring in their data bank.

Pretty sure my RFD (Reigate Gunmakers) has made up springs in the past. Might be another route to explore if your local has the capability.

Search then put the size in to refine, what you really need is an old fashioned gun shop with a spares drawer

Find someone local who will make one for you. It will cost a fraction of what you would pay in a gun shop.
