I do like the remmy's as i have one in 243 700 cdl which shoots A-1.

I think you may have just chosen your rifle if you like the Remmy and your happy with it then may be have a close look at the Remmy.

Re the T3 it's a good rifle, stock looks a pile of junk feels plastic but after it's been dragged through a few bushes and across barbedwire fence's it still shots extremely well. It's a no frill's functional rifle build to do a job which is shot well which just seams to shot well ( no point talking group size because alot of that is down to the person behind the rifle).

Howa also make the rifles for weatherby.. like the Tikka's the Weatherby's come out of the Howa Factory's other door....

I've deceided on a Remmy 700 sps lost out on a good deal the other night they seem like rocking horese **** to get hold of but will keep trying, cheers to every one for there advice.

Weeman, try and go for a stainless. Just looks better. I bought a stainless sps sporter in 243 earlier this year and am astonished by the accuracy. The sps stock is rubbish, but it's easy to find a replacement and even if you are stuck with the plastic stock for a while one can alter it a bit so that the rifle will shoot better.
