Well I am now in a position to buy a new pair of binos and could do with a bit of help deciding what to go for.
I have decided on Swarovski as I have an old pair of 8x30slcs and like them.
Question is do I go for the new EL32s (due out in May) or the 8x42 Range finders ?
Any comments / help appreciated.

I use Swaro 8.5x50 ELs

Excellent field of view and great in morning/last light. Bought the wife EL32s, great for small hands/tuck away neatly.

Presonally I prefer the bigger binos but both are excellent quality. One thing not often mentioned - if you need service, it is first class - I had a complete eyecup replaced whem I lost the rubber crawling after a roe.

BSA , £55 all in, superb for the money, I looks through £200 to 500 bino's before buying these 3 years ago & they get used 2-3 times a week, on various quary /stalks . No problems .

i have a set of 8.5x42 Swarokski ELs, which I no longer need (Ibought the range finder 8x42 EL recently). They're in excellent order, and I even have the original box.
Let me know if they're of interest

That is an extremely rare binocular! I would kill for a pair...

Grant.N - If you are considering a brand new 8x42, I would seriously wait and compare them to the new Zeiss Victory HT when it is available.

I had a look t the 8.5x42 range finders at the shooting show last month and they are wicked! If you can find a pair and afford them there is no contest!
