Am bringing my pup on slowly now and she is taking to tracking, but would rather not be using a collar so thinking about a harness, are they good and which ones should I be looking at ?
Niggeloh blood tracking harness is a very good German quality product. It is available in sizes to suite most breeds from various outlets. Could start with a cheap neoprene harness to get the dog accustomed, no more wheezing dog!
Niggeloh are OK. Normally bought to make the Owner feel good rather than the dog. For my now decieced Kopov I bought a quality harness that was a fraction the price of the Niggeloh. Buy a cheap harness till the dog is full grown then find a harness that fits the dog comfortably. A harness will out live the dog.
Google, Alac tracking Harness. Good quality, easy to put on the dog and willlast for a dogs life time. Cost about £15. I also have a Biltema harness that is perfectly functional that cost about £6
