I have found the reverse camera is pretty poor on my navara . I swapped the camera for a second hand one from eBay which only marginally improved the quality of the image.

But at 5 meters long and with a canopy on the back the camera does come in handy . My partner has the tenka model note and that has the top down camera in the mirrors. I know it is the same on the higher specs navara too so I would consider that for parking in supermarkets and tight spaces.

Or just learn to reverse and park properly.....

(Never had a vehicle with cameras myself, so shouldn't really comment. But funnily enough, I don't seem to have any trouble going backwards accurately, for example in order to position the tow ball directly under a trailer hitch).

More of an aid than a thing to rely on. But with not been able to see out the rear mirror comes in handy too see how far off you are from the next car.
