Which pickup

My local agricultural dealer came round the other day to drop a new piece of machinery off and we got chatting I asked him what the izuzu pickups are like he said they have very few problems with them only thing that theyve had is if when the engine regens and goes wrong it dumps fuel in the engine oil but he said it's very rare
I run l200s theres not much to choose between them all
But the l200 4wd is awesome with it being there trademark super select

Is there much difference to the 4wd system across the range of L200's?
As in will the lower spec models still have the same drivechain or does the likes of the barbarian/warrior have a better system, or is it just basically interior spec differences?

Edit I suppose that question would be the same for the Hilux
 
Although everyone moaned about the drop in power when they came out. I've not driven a 2.4, but most folk have bemoaned their lack of guts in comparison.
I've heard tales of woe about the little Isuzu engines, but regularly see them fleeing aboot dragging livestock trailers.
 
Recent Isuzus have 1.9L and brakes off a pram. No one nowadays really make a bad car, they all have faults but buy the best you can for your budget then spend a bit more.
 
I heard that most of the pick ups are being drawn out of UK.
We are only going to be left with a choice of Hilux, Isuzu and Ford Ranger.
The rest are all going.

Aye, seems Mitsubishi and Nissan bailing out, VW will release a rebadged Ford Ranger, Ssanyong rumoured to be struggling. Options for new only Toyota, Isuzu and Ford.
