Which sound moderator

Since all you're going to get here is subjective answers based on either weight or perceived noise, I'll weigh in with an ASE UTRA SL5/i.
You'll never need to worry about it corroding, and it will help with muzzle flip. It will heat haze after a couple of shots.
I run an sl5 on my sporter barrel 6.5x55 and jet z on my 26” HB creedmoor, the sl5 is nowhere near as good sound suppression wise but lighter and more suited to the lighter set up.

There is no "best" moderator for a specific calibre. Maybe "best" for particular rifle, use, aesthetics, balance, attenuation etc etc.

I am about to get this. Any data on sound levels?
Sorry, no . I'm sure the claimed figures are online ,
To my old , uncalibrated ears , I think it has less bark than my 243 with an mae t12 scout fitted . My only regret is I should have put an xl on my 223 instead of the standard Victor, it'd have been a little quieter for negligible weight gain. Same money as well .
You live and learn ...

@Neddle I can only speak for the ones I have tried.

Wildcat are really nicely made and their Evo is a great choice - made in UK as well!

I also have Atec mod's, the newest being the H2. Also top quality with the benefit that if you want to replace it down the line then you can do so under Jackson Rifles' limited lifetime guarantee, and get around 40% off a new one.

Quite a few people like DPT & Freyr Devik too but I haven't tried these.
Mines is a DPT, so you have! But it didn't cover its self in glory the day you used it as it sounded louder than usual 👎

Wild cat for me. I have used it for few years and customer service is second to none. If you opt for Evolution you can just buy the bridge with new thread if you change your rifle.
