Double rifles look great but how does the point of impact between the two barrels vary over increasing range?
Winchester grand European double.
I used a 9.3x74R Chapuis side-by-side on a driven shoot in France this weekend........... I suspect it would also be really good for stalking in thick woodland: short, points easily, and the quarry is less likely to run if hit!
I have a Beretta 689 silver sable o/u in 9.3x 74r![]()
And an excellent choice of cartridge for roe as well.
(No really, the 9.3 - it's 9.3x62 ballistic twin my case - does a very efficient job on UK woodland deer with little meat damage).
I've got a 9.3x57 en route so hopefully it'll be just as effective![]()
They have one of those in my local gun shop in 9.3x74R. Says its made in Belgium with D5 engraving
Not sure what you mean as the my rifle is the mk 2 and is regulated and then silver soldered at the factory?Have you regulated it with the ring?
