Who would you like to (Or liked to have) spend a long week-end with?

My old head keeper .
Now I’m older and the need to ridicule/brush off has gone I’d love to just listen to the old tales of back before it all went Pete Tong with laws and guidelines .He was old old school and tried to teach us same but for the fact we were all college educated .
Another would be with the **** that shot my old lurcher many years ago whilst coursing a fox in Oxfordshire .Even after 22 years ,a straightener would help no end .
Finally it would be my old hunting partner who emigrated to the States where we lost contact .I’m sure he now has hunting tales beyond what I’ve achieved .

My dad it's not until there gone do you realize there worth. Never meet your hero's did it with the terriers and found most of them to be no different to us lesser mortals

My old mum and dad have both recently died. I would have a weekend with them.
The French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery said this. I also believe it to be true. I hope that truth will bring the same comfort to you as it has done to me with regard to my late parents and others I have known who have passed.

He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man.

David Cameron..I’d like firmly to understand why someone remotely intelligent would have sowed the seeds, leading Theresa May to invoke article 50 and lead the UK towards Brexit and destroy our economy.

Rumpelstiltskin
If he’s not available then the relative who died in the war who’s knife I found under my grandparent's bed looking for Christmas presents many years ago.

Bror Blixen, he used to hunt in the Serengeti with my grandfather, I would like to hear what my grandfather was like as a young man.

What a great family connection.

For what it is worth, one of my favourite books/films.

I didn't realise until recently about his prolific life there, he apparently organised the last big rhino hunt in Tanzania due to a lot of their workers being killed by rhinos, I have a 7kg horn here from the nou forest tanzania. His diaries have been collated and put online for Cambridge university East African studies.
What a great family connection.
