Winchester Copper ammo - discontinued?

My local gunshop, Francis Lovel in Witney, say they're no longer stocking Wincester Extreme Point Copper Impact 85g ammo as Winchester have stopped producing it, citing lack of demand. This is a massive pain in the backside if true, as my Browning X Bolt .243 loves it, and I just bought another X-Bolt to stick an Alpex on, thinking I could use the same ammo.

Anyone else either heard anything similar, or know anyone in the Oxon area who currently has some in stock? I've tried everywhere local I can think of and no joy. Thanks in advance.

Friends up here who have tried Winchester Copper Ammo have been very unimpressed with it. Besides anything American produced is getting very much harder to find.

Ask Francis Lovell to order a batch of Fox 80grain 243 ammo from Edinburgh Rifles for you to try.

Yes I take your point about American stuff, that's worth bearing in mind. As for how good it was, everything I shot with it died, that was good enough for me! Plus, it was reasonably-priced.
