Wintry duck flight.

Cracking evening for a flight,bitter cold wind and a wee skim starting on the pond.
First couple of days in a cold snap are my favourite and had some superb flights in blizzard conditions through the years.
Buck at 9-10 months encountering his first divers and was pretty comical in his reactions but Jake at 13 years still on the ball.

Exceptionally testing for sure.
They are very late usually and like a midge compared to the B-52 mallards and a lot of times the first i know they are about is them splashing down.Makes connecting with one or two all the more satisfying.

Aye,and then the wee confused swim around in a circle or two.
