Does anybody on this forum work with wired haired vizsla's? I own 2, at the min at i go beating and shooting with them. I would like to know what others do with their viszlas. I originally bought mine to work with hawks as i've been into falconry for the past 15years or so. I haven't got a hawk at the min, so i just work them on a shoot where my son works. I've recently been out with a friend of mine stalking which i really enjoyed.

You guys and your wire haired vizslas......................what you really need is a GWP.
Cracking looking dogs mind you.

I know a girl with two WHV..........she once had a lovely very expensive leather chair in her sun room. After returning from a shopping trip the lovely very expensive chair wasn't leather anymore

I had my WHV dog for 19 months now and so far he has proven to be one of the best friends the family have had, as far as working he is fine as long as there is some thing to work but give him the chance and he converts back to pup. I have been told that they normally settle out at two and a half so we will wait and see.

Beard Towel, yep definately need one of them..

They are just like GWP, but better and they don't kill cats, other dogs or postmen :D
