Does anyone have any recommendations for female clothing? I have a nice fleece, Boots, Gators, but I'm in dire need of some trousers for sudden an upcoming outing.

I'm fortunate the time of year Its going to be (roughly) planned for I should have some money to toss around on it, after selling various deer noggins... birthdays, beating etc.

Having tried all the main brands the only trousers I wear now are Fjallraven. Have a look at the Barents Pro, they do a ladies version.

Check out the sales section on Bushwear, The Sportsman, John Norris, Uttings etc - sure you will find something.

Ps - really rate Swedteam gear.

Seeland do ladies shooting clothes, as do Fortis.
Fortis would be the best option, particularly if you are non- standard dimensions, but they're expensive.

+1 for Fjallraven, they do some good lighterweight summer stuff plus heavier cold weather trousers. Not cheap but buy once cry once.

As their gear is made for hikers as well as sporting users they do a women's range so you should be able to find what you want/need without too much difficulty.

Have a look at Genius gardening trousers. They do a big range of well designed garments and you can get waterproof versions.

Bushwear has a nice selection I think that's probably the best to keep an eye on, I'll have to measure myself but I would guess I'm a small whats ideal considering xsmall is usually out of stock for stalking stuff.

I do have a hunting/Farming store 5min out of town but taking a glances at prices everything was £150+ might not be a terrible quick nip in though just to double check I'll be spending £100-£120 anyways.

It's a very sad fact that you will struggle to find a good pair of stalking trousers for that sort of price from any of the reputable brands. I think Fortis, for example, you'd be looking at closer to £400.
Try the Solognac range from Decathlon. Much more sensible prices if your budget is limited.

The unfortunate reality of shooting! The bushwear sales section Is about that price so within budget, but yes I do understand anything good quality that will last years and years will be that much.

At the moment I'm only out once or twice a month so I think a £100+ pair will do just fine, In a few years time though when Its a bit more justified I probably will pick something like that up.

How very dare you, Sir!

I’m sure the Lady in question is quite normal in this and all other regards.

Yes, but I was speaking from the experience of having a stalking daughter of non- standard dimensions (size 6 petite). The range of sizes available for women's country clothing is very limited which is frustrating for many.
I do seem to recall that the OP mentioned in an earlier post that she was of small stature, hence my comment.
The advantage of Fortis is that they tailor their clothing to fit.

Seeland trousers in that bracket (seeland key point) are good for the money, I've a couple of pairs got one on sale for 60. I'd assume they do a female version as they have other female versions. Worth a look in my opinion

Thumbs up for fortis, can be made to personal requirements. I had sealand years ago and lasted very well. Bought a pair of those key point ones (which seemed very good) but only lasted 2 weeks, 1st barbed wire fence ripped a 6in L shaped hole in them. Definitely not the quality of yesteryear, but then nothing is!

He isn't wrong honestly! no offense taken, I'm only 7 stone a weird in-between of too big for kids sizes but too small for adult sizes.
I'm a bit longer in the leg and my waste isn't dreadful so I think small sizes should work fine but Its a bit unfortunate at the lack of options too, I feel for all the ladies thinner than me.

And no... I dont think I'm dragging any red stags out of ditches!!!

For anyone putting two and two together though I won the free stalk with Colin for this upcoming hind and doe season, I know the ground well enough In my area to make do with what I have, but I dont want to show up in what i currently stalk in just to be met with bramble after bramble on his ground either!

A good illustration of the point I was making: Nothing there below size 8 or 10, yet kids sizes don't fit small women either as they have hips and tits.
