Hi all,
I’m based in Wiltshire and have been stalking for a few years now, mostly roe and the occasional fallow. I’ve managed a couple of trips further north for reds, which were unforgettable experiences.
I usually carry a .243 for roe and a .308 when going after bigger deer. Also keep a .22LR for vermin work around the farm.
Most of my experience has been woodland stalking and a bit of high seat work, but I’m always keen to learn more and hear what others are using in terms of kit and approach.
Looking forward to joining in the discussions here and learning from everyone.
