Life’s too short to not have a splurge every now and then!Never buy anything when on a high or a low - sound advice for all but having just lost our much beloved old lab I had to do something to lift the spirits.

Although just did my second Jimny transfer box mounting bracket the other day and two brake pipes for a friend - I really liked the Jimny I had but the rot got to it due to lack of care and maintenance by previous owners.

Being “ladies” there is little likelihood of offspring - at the first sight of a test tube I am off!
I do like them though, in the raw, as you have them, not tricked up with aftermarket accessories that write cheques they can’t cash. I’m leaning towards a Skoda Yeti - I doubt as hardy as your Jimney girls, but so much better behaved on the road. More likely to be wearing clean knickers, at least… I’d take one home to meet my Mum any day. A Jimney? Not sure…but what happens in the woods, should stay in the woods.

In truth I thought of a Yeti myself but simply couldn’t face telling the old girl or for that matter Lady FB.
As an aside herself is besotted with the new girl - even takes her to her choir nights when she taxis three other gals - who also love it. Sooo just like her silver stablemate the back seats are coming out today!

Do the choristers get to sit in the plasterers tray when the seats are out? SWMBO is also a choirister, a soprano of considerable reputation and talent. I’ve got her eating venison, but the tray would be an ask too far. Meds and ticks would finish me…

Not just yet though the tray is a great idea for getting them home from their Christmas Dinner - need to add a wheelbarrow to get them to the Jimny though….
