You couldn't make this up!

I just had to laugh at this ffs, it beggars belief!

Although I did wonder if the bit about cyclists not having to stick to speed limits is correct?

Once you get on your bike you can behave with complete immunity to legal sanctions, it’s the last bastion of anarchy and freedom from persecution on the planet.
Unfortunately the rules of motion still apply, but a lot of cyclists behave as if they’re exempt from these too.
You can legally put a 3 year old on a bike and let him/her pedal down a main road to the shops and its everyone else on the roads job to see to it that they get there and back safely.
Here they’ve fought off mandatory helmet wearing because it could discourage people from taking up cycling….

Visit Oxford. Cyclist completely above the law. At night all black and no lights. They ignore all red lights and alike. Break speed limits and totally ignorant of other road users.
Last time I visited I vowed I would write a letter of complaint to the Chief Constable and PCC. Never saw a marked police car in a 3 day visit.

As Tom Jones sang, It’s not unusual. It just about describes every town and city the length and breadth of the UK and from what I can see, the vast majority are takeaway delivery riders.
