Zeroing a rifle for eejits

Raining hard outside so defaulted to the toob and fluked upon this just now - guy zeroing a 22-250 at 200 yds. Not the most exciting video until you see that the “range” is perfectly flat, has no backstop and the shooting is done from a sitting position. Then we learn that there is a public path to the front right oh and another one to front left.
Hmmm!
As a finale (I gave up at that point) he has to stop shooting because someone has walked into the fields from one of the paths which he confirms by looking (only a few degrees from his target) through the telescopic sight!
You couldn’t make it up!

Not quite sure what was more annoying.

His 'relaxed' attitude to safety.
HIs 'confusion' about how to properly zero a scope.
His unfathomable desire to want to film (and then post) all of the above.
His continuous impersonation of 'Bob Flemming'...

Must admit, I haven’t watched it, purely because it didn’t get good reviews.
Cheers, Ken.

I feel that some are being a bit holier than thou in their comments
I know the land that he is shooting on.
He is shooting on a downhill slope and probably will have mud behind the target at the angle he will be shooting at.
In relation to the footpaths, his rifle was moved the full width of the bipod legs. that's probably 30 degrees or more. Even when shooting on Century range at Bisley, that angle could take me off the range template.
on my permissions we have footpaths nearby and have to stop when muppets walk where ever they feel like off the footpaths....
On some places where I wildfiowl, we are shooting within 5 yards of a permissive right of way!

"that angle could take me off the range template.", and speaking of angles, When the bolt is being closed on a live round or is being opened without the round having been fired the barrel must not deviate more than 70mils or about 4 degrees from the horizontal. The person in the video is clearly ignoring this basic safe practice.

Must admit my ignorance on that point. 😱
Ken.

After sitting through the whole, deff not a prank.
I talked in metric until he pulled his target leaning stick out the ground (The one with the knot in it) then he looked and said it was in 30 inches. Perhaps meant CMs.
Ken.

There is no range template its a farm. Yes if we shooting a MOD gallery range. He needs to close the bolt aiming at a safe backstop. What an idiot farmer Prat is.
