saw a yearling doe feeding at around 19:00, she then headed back in the woods, nothing else showing within 2 miles radius after 19:00, absolutely nada..usually should be 10-16 deer to be seen on that forest line...very odd, I'm actually starting to find that the only bucks about and most likely only time they are rutting around here, is mid to late afternoon, then they head in early evening for a long snooze as the evenings are so bloody cold now. This summer I am not seeing the traditional late evening deer coming out of the woods and hedgerows to feed in the open,,on the contrary.
