
I was also told that if a deer damaged a front leg it can often affect the the antler on the opposite side ?
Agree, although my understanding was that any damage on one side would result in antler deformation on the opposite side.

This antler is a field example of the experimental work carried out by Bubenik where this resulted from transverse splitting of the the developing panty (antler bud) in Roe bucks
